Ethernet RS232 MP3 Player
This is a Homemade MP3 Player with an Ethernet rs232 interface:
I use this interface as a doorbell and for speaking the time
For announcing that the washing machine is ready.
etc etc.
So the only thing you need is this device and a ethernet connection
For announcing anything you want.
Needed
1x Mp3 player
1X Ethernet Gateway
1X Amplifier
1X Powersupply
1X Speaker
1X scripts
You can also make a external outlet fo a bigger speaker if you want more audio.
Here you see the internal components on the front there is a 2Watt speaker this speaker is from an old laptop and give's a lot off power.
Then you see the rs232 Gateway,left in the back is the audio amplifier and on the right the
mp3 player.
The case is from an old fiber converter.
so all components fits perfect in this case.
Here is the player is its case to let see how small the player is i have put a pir next to it.
